About Pro

Three steps

Convert images to WebP in three steps.

  1. Drop in images

PNG, JPEG and GIF all work: 20 per batch with no sign-up, up to 5 MB each.

  2. Check “Convert all to WebP”

The output format is already set to “Convert all to WebP”, with quality on Smart by default.

  3. Download WebP

Images are compressed as they convert, and the results show each image’s size before and after; download one by one or as a ZIP.

When to use WebP

When should you use WebP?

WebP suits images on websites and in mini programs: it’s usually smaller than PNG or JPEG for the same look, and all major browsers can display it.

For images you’ll send to people, put in documents or print, sticking with JPG or PNG is the safer choice.

Animated GIFs can be converted to WebP too, and they’re compressed along the way. To optimize a GIF without changing its format, choose “Keep original” for lossless optimization.
